Aug. 13, 2026
Pursuant to due call and notice given in the manner prescribed by Section 3.01 of the City Charter,
the Crystal City Council special work session was held at 6:32 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2026, in the upper
community room at city hall, 4141 Douglas Dr. N., Crystal, MN, and via Zoom. Mayor Deshler called the
meeting to order.
Attendance
The city manager recorded the attendance for city council members and staff:
Council members present: Budziszewski, Deshler, Eidbo, Kamish, and Onesirosan.
Council members Cummings and Kiser were absent.
City staff present: City Manager A. Bell, Assistant City Manager/HR Manager K. Therres, Recreation
Director J. Elholm, Police Chief B. Hubbard, Community Development Director J. Sutter, and
Communications Manager M. Peterson.
Also present were Future iQ representatives David Buerle and Heather Branigin.
Agenda
The council and staff discussed the following agenda items:
1) Crystal 2050 Vision Plan presentation — David Beurle, Future iQ.
2) 2027 Budget:
a) General Fund continued discussion.
b) Park/Buildings Projects.
c) EDA & Miscellaneous.
III. Adjournment
The work session adjourned at 9:27 p.m.
