Pursuant to due call and notice given in the manner prescribed by Section 3.01 of the City Charter,
the Crystal City Council work session was held at 6:31 p.m. on June 16, 2026, in the upper community
room at city hall, 4141 Douglas Dr. N., Crystal, MN, and via Zoom. Mayor Deshler called the meeting to
order.
Attendance
The city clerk recorded the attendance for city council members and staff:
Council members present: Onesirosan, Budziszewski, Cummings, Deshler, Kamish and Kiser.
Council member Eidbo was present virtually via Zoom.
City staff present: City Manager A. Bell, City Attorney R. Tierney, Assistant City Manager/HR
Manager K. Therres, Recreation Director J. Elholm, Police Chief B. Hubbard, West Metro Fire -
Rescue District Chief J. Kunde, Community Development Director J. Sutter and City Clerk C. Serres.
IL Agenda
The council and staff discussed the following agenda items:
1) West Metro Fire -Rescue District 2027 budget.
2) Council liaison reports.
At 6:56 p.m., Mayor Deshler recessed the work session.
Mayor Deshler reconvened the work session at 8:50 p.m. to continue discussion of the council
liaison reports and the following agenda items:
3) Constituent issues update.
4) City manager update.
5) New business.
6) Council comments and announcements.
7) TIF-funded public improvement near Wells Fargo site.
8) Decorative concrete options for Douglas Drive medians (2027 project).
9) Holiday lighting update.
III. Adjournment
The work session adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
