Pursuant to due call and notice given in the manner prescribed by Section 3.01 of the City Charter,
the Crystal City Council work session was held at 6:30 p.m. on May 5, 2026, in the upper community
room at city hall, 4141 Douglas Dr. N., Crystal, MN, and via Zoom. Mayor Deshler called the meeting to
order.
Attendance
The city manager recorded the attendance for city council members and staff:
Council members present: Eidbo, Kamish, Kiser, Onesirosan, Cummings and Deshler.
Council Member Budziszewski was absent.
City staff present: City Manager A. Bell, City Attorney R. Tierney, Police Chief B. Hubbard, Deputy
Police Chief P. Underthun, Public Works Director/City Engineer J. Struve, Recreation Director J.
Elholm and Recreation Program Manager M. Margo.
Agenda
The council and staff discussed the following agenda item:
1) Commission candidate interviews:
i Lilliann Henthorne — Inclusion and Diversity, Parks and Recreation (Ward 1).
* Jordan Pinneke — Inclusion and Diversity (Ward 3).
At 6:58 p.m., Mayor Deshler recessed the work session.
Mayor Deshler reconvened the work session at 7:19 p.m. to continue discussion of the following
agenda items:
2) Crystal Frolics.
3) Tobacco/Kratom follow-up.
4) Constituent issues update.
5) New business.
6) Council comments and announcements.
Mayor Deshler left the work session at 8:34 p.m. Council Member Kamish served as Mayor Pro Tem.

The work session adjourned at 9:12 p.m.
