ADJOURNMENT * Items for which supporting materials will be included in the meeting packet CITY OF CRYSTAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL LAND USE APPLICATIONS 2011-13 and 14 CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FOR EXPANDED HOURS OF OPERATION BODYBLAST FITNESS AND DANCE (3537 DOUGLAS DRIVE NORTH) AND MILTON'S (3545 DOUGLAS DRIVE NORTH) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Crystal will meet on Monday, October 10, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at Crystal City Hall, 4141 Douglas Drive North, in said City, to consider the following application initiated by the applicants (Alyssa Carter d/b/a BodyBlast and Francine and Philip Weber d/b/a Milton's) and property owner (Douglas Drive Partnership LLP): Special Land Use Applications 2011-13 and 14 • Property Location: 3537 Douglas Drive North (P.I.D. 20-118-21-11-0098) • Type of Application: Conditional Use Permits for expanded hours of operation Description of Project: The property is zoned C-1 Neighborhood Commercial in which businesses may not operate before 6:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. The applicants desire to operate businesses in tenant spaces on the property with expanded hours. Specifically: • BodyBlast Fitness and Dance (tenant space at 3537 Douglas Drive North) seeks approval to open at 5:00 a.m. • Milton's (tenant space at 3545 Douglas Drive North) seeks approval to operate a 49 seat, 2,350 sq. ft. restaurant with wine and beer service to close at 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 Midnight Friday and Saturday.
