CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Crystal Planning Commission convened at 7:00 p.m. with the following members present: Page 2 of 2 J:\PLANNING\Planning Commission\2010 and earlier\2009\03.09\minutes.doc enough parking available and even when vehicles park in the area of the rear lot it does not hinder the truck traffic. Commissioner Whitenack commented that a consideration was the proximity of the storage area to the tenant space. Mr. Zimmermann indicated that there has been no response from the property owner indicating their disapproval of the proposed storage location. Commissioner VonRueden opened the Public Hearing. None were heard and the Public Hearing was closed. Hearing no further discussion from the Planning Commission, Commissioner VonRueden asked if anyone would like to make a motion. Moved by Commissioner Buck and seconded by Commissioner Davis to recommend to the City Council to approve Application 2009-02 for a Conditional Use Permit to allow outdoor storage at 7350 32nd Avenue North with the recommendations and conditions of approval as outline in Section C of the staff report. Motion passed 6 to 1 with Commissioners Davis, Nystrom, Whitenack, VonRueden, Buck and Strand voting aye and Commissioner Fiedler voting nay. Motion carried. D. No old business to discuss. E. NEW BUSINESS – Commissioner VonRueden reminded Planning Commission members of the Appreciation Dinner on March 26 and the need to RSVP by March 18. F. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. A written summary of City Council actions on recent Planning Commission items was supplied to the Commission. 2. Staff indicated, that as of this time, there are no likely agenda items for the April 13, 2009 meeting. G. OPEN FORUM – None heard H. ADJOURNMENT Moved by Commissioner Nystrom and seconded by Commissioner Strand to adjourn. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
