"Carried" A motion by Scott, seconded by Schmook, that we adopt a resolution -ex- pressing our protest jagainst the 26f •increase in rates which application -is now before the Railway and Warehouse Commission in favor of the North- Western Bell Telephone Co. and that the Recorder be instructed to write to the Commission stating our objections. "Carried" A motion by Scott, seconded by Mortensen, that we comply with the request of the Civic League and tear down the storeroom in -the Village Hall and G' use the salvaged material to build three lockers in the rear room to be ✓ used by the Civic League, the Boy Scout Troupe and the athletic equip- ment. Mr. Clarno stated he had made arrange ments to house his operations in the Tenny Garage on 43rd. The Recorder was instructed to have representative of the Borchert Ingersoll Co. pre- sent at our neat meeting. Mr. Bronstad agreed to ask the Village Lngineers to be present -at the next meeting of the Planning Commission with Village Master MR.p and street numbering plan. A meeting of .the two boards was proposed, the date to be sat later, for the 'purpode -d? dividing the cost of maintaining border line roads. The recorder was instructed to write to the Planning Commission requesting an expression concerning the minnimum size of dwellings to be permitted. Rennie for the approval of the Planning Commission, The Recorder was instructed to bring the data of the Metropolitan Sewage Dispotar`plad for the neat meeting. A notion by Schmock, seconded.by Mortensen, that we adopt the following policing program for the Village: The Tillage will receive sir (6) hours of patrolling each night eiceot Sunday. From g P. M. to 2 A. M. Each officer will patrol 41 hours per week, One officer wIll''patroi from 8 P. M. to 11 P. M. the.other from 11 P. M. to 2 A. M. and alternate Sundays. Officers will report to the Sherrif's office when going on and off duty. . , Officers must be in full uniform when on duty. Two way radios to be installed in each officer's car as^soon'ai_it can be legally done. Installation and maintenance of radios will be the respon- sibility of the Sherrif's office. Mr. Rollin Jackson was present and explained that there was little'possibility of the tenants at the Motel gaining residence in the Village because they all understand that the rates will be daily as of ,May l9t. The Rec6yder was instructed to write to the Robbinsdale postmaster requesting that he petition that he petition the residents of the Village to have their house corrected to conform to the new house numbering system.' Schmock reported on the activities of the Road and Bridge Committee, The Recorder was instructed to write to the'owner of the property occupied by the Dumas Family, informing him that the sewage disposal on this property would have to be made satisfactory or the cage would be referred to the State Sanitatiom Department for action.
