Candidates for Blue Line Business and Community Advisory Committees
There are vacancies for Crystal representatives on two Blue Line Extension Advisory
Committees, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) and the Community Advisory
Committee (CAC). Two applications were received for the BAC and six applications
received for the CAC.
Six candidates were interviewed on March 19 and interviews were continued to March
31 for the remaining two candidates. The schedule for the two interviews is:

IMPORTANT ISSUES -
I am looking forward to being able to work on the input for the public art, design, location, and the accessibility
of the Bass Lake Road Station. Work to get better ancillary bus service there. Continue the progress of the LRT Blue
Line Extension based on the evolution of a decade's involvement and extensive public service in pursuit of it.
Promote business awareness of the available economic radius incentives to generate business and labor
opportunities in and out of the city encouragi ng residential deve opment and helping the tax base. Address the CP
and BNSF railroads apparent route plans and the increase of rail traffi n the corridor. Field issues (Federal, state,
metro, county, and city) as the project grows toward completion.et`
COMMUNITY, CIVIC, OR VOL'<JN'ITEER EXPERIENCE
Since moving to Crystal in 1990, I have been volunteering, organizing, and participating in civic and
neighborhood groups and activities. These include: Cavanaugh Oaks neighborhood meetings and committees, the
annual Halloween Parade, community flower gardens on iCR81, tree and lilac planting in parr and along Highway
100, establishment of Twin Laky: Shores Park and pier. the dog park, the pool, citizen task COM far the
comprehimsive plan update, the Bottineau Corridor CAC. etc. Also, served on an industry board and did varlous
educational

I am dedicated to attending meetings unless I have a conflict worldng out of town or late and, on occasion, a
personal event obligation. If I am unable to attend, I review agendas and information to stay informed about the
scope of the project. I have continued to attend meetings throughout the evolution of the CAC and anticipate the
— latest stades of g�cQung the LRT.
